Any person can experience anxiety. It is usually sudden and sometimes a very intense occurrence of fear, anxiety and panic. Although they can appear pretty random and may have no specific triggers, attacks usually are the result of many factors. Sometimes ongoing stress or a traumatic event are some reasons that can bring on the attacks. Depression can set in if anxiety goes untreated. Don’t be another statistic. You don’t want to be another person devastated by anxiety attacks who is afraid of everything. Do you know how many different types of anxiety there are? The following are the most common. A person can experience more than one kind of anxiety at a time.

  1. Panic disorder (attacks that occur unexpectedly and repeatedly leaving you in fear when the next attack will happen. Most people experience the first attack between 15 and 19yrs old)
  2. Obsessive compulsive disorder (obsessive thoughts and ritualistic behaviors)
  3. Generalized anxiety disorder (excessive worry for a period of over 6 months)
  4. Social anxiety (anxiety in social situations causing considerable distress)
  5. Agoraphobia (when a person feels intensely anxious about being trapped in certain situations from which they can’t easily escape)
  6. Phobias (exaggerated and unrealistic fear of a non-threatening situation)

Anxiety is twice as common in women as in men and is estimated that it affects 1 in 10 people The average age of onset is 31 years old, but anxiety can begin at any age, even childhood.. So what does Anxiety feel like:

When experiencing anxiety or panic it’s like a violent attack on our body. To win your battle with anxiety learning how to relax is the key. Listen to soothing music, pray, try finding a support group, Barry Joe McDonagh’s Panicaway Program or meditation tapes. The most important thing to do is to try something different so that you can get a different result. Barry Joe McDonagh had been suffering with anxiety for many years. I felt very comfortable and reassured that his information was carefully researched and he really knew what he was talking about. If you want these attacks to change then you HAVE to be committed to doing something different or things will never change. I found Barry Joe McDonagh’s Panicaway Program the most effective.. If you accept the help that’s the first step, you don’t have to go through it alone, learn how to live an anxiety free life! It’s yours for the taking!
